The idea is to train your dog in Basic Obedience,a formal Training that works like magic,when your dog is still young.The Ideal age is from 10wks.to 1-1/2 years of age.Once a dog is trained from A to Z they stay that way for the rest of their lives.Any Dog that I train and Guarantee the Training,when the dog is put through it's paces,remembers it 10 years later like it was yesterday.It's quite amazing to see.I sometimes use a customers dog for demonstration years later when the dog is old and grey,and they all perform like champions.I do this when they refer their friends,neighbours,associates,etc. rather than use my own dog that is highly trained.It's like riding a bike.However,if the dog is not 100% Trained,it does not work the same way.A dog that is only 60% trained,stays 60% Trained or less over the years.They must be 100% Trained! Trained dogs don't get into problems,and dog owners learn what they need to know to have their dogs more settled down and under control;.They know how to stop a dog agression problem the first time it happens,for ever,instead of the 20th time,and with constant nagging.A ttrained dog dosn't need lunatics like the Hollywood Dog Trainers on TV.
